Book Your Seat for the Book Exchange!

The December meeting will include dessert and an exciting new twist: a book exchange. Bring a copy of a book you enjoyed (new or used) and trade it for one from another member. It’s a great way to recycle and spread holiday cheer. This meeting will be held on December 2nd at the Holiday Inn. The dessert choices are Candy Cane Cheesecake or a Fresh Fruit Plate. The cost for the meeting (including dessert) is $9. Registration will be at 6:30 pm. Dessert and coffee will be served at 7 pm followed by the meeting. Cheryln Willet and Cheryl Rimmer will be the hostesses for this meeting. Please call the telephone committee by 9 pm on Sunday, November 28th to reserve your spot. Remember you can also e-mail your reservation to Sue Grigg at smmgrigg@aol.com. Remember that all meetings are guest meetings.

A special thank you to Brian Hutchinson who made our November meeting a huge success with his informative legal presentation. He provided practical information for attendees. It is important to note that he also generously donated his honorarium to the scholarship fund. What a guy!

Special points of interest:

 LCWC needs a Secretary – could you do the job? The position only requires taking notes at two meetings per month. Think about it!

 The next board meeting will be held at 7 pm on December 9th at Mary Beth Caswell’s home.

 We are always looking for new ideas for meeting topics. Contact Mary Beth Caswell with a fresh idea.

 SAVE THE DATE
April 19, 2011 is our major fundraiser, a fashion show. More info next month.
