Meet Our ScholarshipWinner

The Fashion Show was fantastic, but our May Banquet is our most exciting meeting: We get to meet our scholarship winner. The May meeting will be at the Lockport Town and Country Club and the hostesses will be Mary Beth Gammack and Juliana Goelz. It will be on held on May 5th with a cash bar starting at 6:30pm and dinner served at 7:00. You have a choice of one from three entrees: Tuscan Penne Pasta sauteed in olive oil with sun dried tomatoes, red onion, black and green olives, mixed peppers, and garlic for $18.00; Seared Chicken Breast Marsala braised with mushrooms in Marsala demi-glace, baked potato, and vegetable for $26.00; or Char-Grilled Tournedos of Beef served with a truffle demi-glace, baked potato, and vegetable for $30.00. All entrees include a chef salad. The dessert is chocolate mousse cake and coffee or tea will be served.

The fashion show, “Spring Fever,” was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who worked to make it happen and to everyone who attended the event. The food was tasty and the service was wonderful. The Kohl’s fashions were fresh and inspiring. There were more baskets than last year, if you can believe it. The basket committee really outdid themselves. Come to the May meeting to find out more about the Fashion Show.

Special points of interest:
 Thank you to Katie Porter and Porter Farms for an engaging and informative presentation. If anyone wants to join or get more information, Monica Pullano is the coordinator for Lockport.

 The next board meeting will be held at Ann VanDusen’s home on May 12th at 7:00 pm. Please attend if you are interested in learning what happens at these meetings or if you are considering joining the board.
