It will be a Hearts ‘n
Flowers evening when we meet at 7 pm Thursday, February 7, in the Community
Room of the Kenan Center’s Taylor
Theatre!
Ellen Martin, who owns the Sweet Sixteen Cafe and Bakery on
West Main Street,
will provide special Valentines Day desserts in a box as she tells us about the
pitfalls and pleasures of a woman starting a business.
She also owns a
bicycle rental business, specializing in rentals to tourists who want to pedal
leisurely to local points of interest.
Hostesses will be Elaine
Bergman and Karen Robinson. Cost: $12.
Reservations are due SUNDAY, FEBRUARY
3, AT 8PM
In the business meeting, the
Scholarship Committee’s recommendations and a review of their financial status
will be aired.

a memorial fund for scholarships. People would contribute to it to honor
members who have passed away.

Country Club and keep collecting items for baskets, to be delivered to either
